I have not written a blog post since Hurricane Helene. On September 27, 2024, a storm moved across our state and several other states. The power went out after midnight. The wind howled and beat against the back of our home. I looked out the window but could not see what was going on. We finally tried to sleep once it slowed down. My husband was at work during the storm.

Introduction

In the sixth chapter of Ephesians, Paul instructs believers in spiritual warfare. He emphasizes the importance of using God's full armor to stand firm against enemy attacks. In verses 16-18, Paul emphasizes prayer's importance as a necessary part of our spiritual armor.

In Ephesians 6:12-15, Apostle Paul gives us an important message about spiritual warfare. He tells us that believers are not fighting flesh and blood. Our fight is against the rulers, authorities, and powers of this dark world. We are also fighting against evil spiritual forces in the heavenly realm. These spiritual entities work against us, attacking our faith and hindering our spiritual growth.
