Palm Sunday Devotional

Scripture: Matthew 21:1-11

Reflection: Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week, a time when we remember Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem. The crowds welcomed Him with shouts of "Hosanna!" and laid palm branches in His path, recognizing Him as their long-awaited Messiah. Yet, within days, many of these same voices would turn against Him.

This day teaches us about the fickleness of human praise and the steadfastness of God's purpose. Jesus knew what lay ahead—betrayal, suffering, and death—but He chose to walk the path of obedience. His humility and sacrifice remind us that true greatness is found in serving others and surrendering to God's will.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, as we remember Your entry into Jerusalem, help us to lay down our pride and surrender to Your will. May we honor You not just with our words but with lives that reflect Your love and grace. Guide us through this Holy Week, that we may grow closer to You and share in the joy of Your resurrection. Amen.

Action Step: This week, reflect on areas of your life where you need to submit to God's plan. Take time to serve someone in humility, remembering Christ's example.
